There's no better excuse to bake these delicious Cream Cheese Oreo Cookies than making them your sweetheart on Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. I think I fell in love when I was in Elementary school. I remember going to the store to pick out my Barbie or Lisa Frank Valentine's and decorating a shoebox into an awesome masterpiece. My Mom would buy my brothers and I a small box of chocolates and a little gift which I loved. My family loves my homemade cookies so I thought I'd make these yummy Cream Cheese Oreo Cookies instead of buying boxes of expensive chocolates this year. The best part of this cream cheese Oreo cookie recipe is they only require a handful of ingredients.
- ½ cup softened butter
- 4oz softened cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ¼ cup all purpose flour
- About 12 Crushed Oreos
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Use a hand mixer and beat your butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Then mix in your vanilla extract and a few drops of pink food coloring. Combine your sugar and flour and mix into your wet ingredients. Crush your Oreos in a large freezer bag and fold them into your cookie dough. Use a tablespoon to scoop out your dough, roll into small balls, and place onto your baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool.
