He doesn't even mind that is only August and summer isn't even over yet. He's a true pumpkin fan.

Ingredients

• ½ cup melted butter
• ½ cup pumpkin puree
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• ¼ cup light brown sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoons salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

First you'll want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together your melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugars, and vanilla extract.

Add in your flour, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.

Mix until you have a thick batter, then fold in your chocolate chips.

Use a cookie dough scoop or a tablespoon to scoop out your batter, shape into small golf ball sized balls, and place onto your baking sheet.

Bake for about 14 minutes then let them cool on your baking sheet.
