Fall is one of my favorite times of the year (well anytime but winter is my favorite) and I love fun fall treats like these Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins! I have a thing for jackets, fall clothes, boots, and enjoying the outdoors. During the fall my family and I love to enjoy fall by going to football games, taking pictures of the changing scenery, and going to our local pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. Farms always have a better selection than the grocery stores and it makes for a great family adventure. Plus, they have sometimes have fantastic fall treats, donuts and apple cider!
A treat that I love year round are Rice Krispie treats. I don't care if they are big, small, or colored. I love them and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I love making them into different shapes and characters, so for fall I wanted to try pumpkins. I bought this awesome mini bundt pan at a thrift store and it worked perfect.

Grease your mini-bundt pan with a small amount of butter or a non-stick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine your marshmallows and butter and microwave for about 60 seconds or until your marshmallows are puffy. Add in your food coloring and mix until your marshmallows are completely orange. Pour in your Rice Krispies and stir well until your cereal is coated. Place a plastic baggy over your hand and rub a little butter onto the baggy. Use your baggy to scoop the sticky cereal into the mini-bundt pan and press firmly once the mini-bundts are full. Freeze for about 15 minutes Carefully remove your orange Rice Krispie Treats and press the bottom of two treat together (you might need to smooth the gaps together with your fingers). Cut Tootsie Rolls in half and press one half onto the top of each pumpkin. Use green icing to draw a leaf and vine onto the top of each pumpkin.Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins
