I am always looking for easy treats throughout the year and these 2 ingredient Patriotic Cookie Dough Truffles are quick, easy and delicious. These truffles only take a few ingredients and a few minutes to make. Plus, they are no bake so I don't have to heat up my oven in the warm summer months!

I am always looking for quick, easy and delicious desserts that everyone will enjoy. Give me a box of cake mix and I'll give you a fun recipe that takes only minutes to make. These Patriotic Cookie Dough truffles are also perfect for kids in the kitchen too. My oldest daughter loves nothing more than helping me in the kitchen. I open the baking cupboard and she comes running checking to see what I'm making.

These Patriotic Cookie Dough Truffles are no exception and she jumped right in to help me make them. I melted the butter in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds, poured it into the cake mix and then allowed her to mix the ingredients and add in the sprinkles. She also scooped the dough and helped roll them cookie dough into balls. Her favorite part of the recipe for taste testing them and giving them two thumbs up!

I usually always have butter and a cake mix on hand, so I can easily whip these up if we get invited to a lat minute get-together, pool party, barbecue or just make them as a quick special sweet treat to give to my neighbors. What are your favorite no bake recipes?

With only 2 ingredients these Patriotic Cookie Dough Truffles are a quick, fun and easy treat for the fourth of July!

Prep Time 15 minutes

Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 box of white cake mix, any brand
• ½ C. of butter, melted + a few extra tablespoons on hand
• ½ C. patriot sprinkles

Instructions

Combine the cake mix and ½ cup of butter, mixing well. If the mixture is crumbly, add 1 tablespoon of melted at a time until the dough can be rolled into balls.

Add in the patriotic sprinkles, mixing well.

Roll the cookie dough into 2" balls.

Place in the fridge 30 minutes to set.

Remove from the fridge and enjoy!
