Christmas is exactly 6 days away. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that it's almost January. I feel like summer just ended! We also have snow and LOTS of it. I'm running to catch my tail the last few weeks and I needed a quick and yummy treat for snack day. I always have Rice Krispies in the pantry and I just so happened to have a bag of seasonal Gingerbread marshamllows. I put two and two together and voila! Gingerbread Rice Krispie treats! So, if you need a quick tasty treat this holiday season try these delicious no bake treats!
Gingerbread Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients:
- 4 C. Rice Krispie Treats

- 4 C. Rice Krispie Treats
- 8 oz Kraft Gingerbread marshmallows
- 3 tbsp. butter, cut into smaller chunks
- Red M&M's
- Gingerbread cookie cutters
- Prepared Frosting, small amount
Instructions
- Line a 9x13 baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add the Gingerbread marshmallows and 3 tablespoons of butter to a large saucepan or dutch oven.
- Heat the mixture on low/medium heat, stirring occasionally, until about it's about ยพ melted.
- Add in the 4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold the marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies.
- Pour the mixture out onto the baking sheet and use a greased spatula to spread the Rice Krispies evenly on the baking sheet.
- Let the treats set for one hour and cut into squares or use the Gingerbread cookie cutters to cut out the treats and add 2 red M&M's with frosting to each.
