Eggless Monster Cookie Dip is perfect for when you don't want to bake cookies and just want to snack on cookie dough!
Monster cookie dough, in my opinion, is the yummiest cookie dough ever created, need I say more? When I was in high school the internet didn't exist, well, barely. I think we got dial-up when I was a senior in high school. Who remembers dial-up? It took up the whole line and your parents would be all 'get off the internet!' But I digress, we didn't have Pinterest or any other cool recipe and craft site then either. We had actual cook books. And I loved to bake.
My favorite cookies to make were chocolate chip followed by monster cookies. Have you ever tried a monster cookie? If not, you are missing out! It's kind of like the kitchen sink of peanut butter and chocolate cookies. It's chocked full of oatmeal, chocolate chips, mini M&M's, peanut butter and chocolate chips! Some recipes call for flour while others omit the flour completely. But be prepared, monster cookies are just that, monster size and the recipe usually make a lot, too!
Some days I crave cookies. Ok, I honestly crave the cookie dough. I get this craving for cookies and then I make up a huge batch of dough and then I just eat the raw dough. Then I get sick of it and my cookie craving disappears. Maybe all I really wanted was some yummy, delicious homemade cookie dough.
This past week, I got to thinking about monster cookies. I hadn't made them in forever, maybe even since last year! I started craving them and that got me searching recipes on Pinterest. I saved a few and put them aside until today when I pulled them out and started reading through the ingredient lists. It was dark and rainy today and honestly I just want a few bits of cookie and dough and I would be all set. My husband was home and he loves cookie dough as much as I do so I decided to skip the huge time consuming batch of cookies and make the monster cookie dough dip for us to enjoy, sans kids!
My grandmother taught me how to bake pies, homemade bread and more. My favorite thing to bake was cookies. I scour my grandmother's cookbooks for recipes to try and spend after school or weekends trying out new cookie recipes. I discovered the Monster Cookie Dough recipe and never looked back!
This recipe is awesome and only take a few minutes. It's also eggless so no need to worry about getting sick. I will warn you though, this monster cookie dough dip is addicting and if you eat to much, you will get a tummy ache. But maybe the tummy ache is worth it cause the monster cookie dough dip is so good!! You can serve it will Nilla Wafers, grahams crackers, even pretzel sticks but honestly, I just like eating off a spoon and calling it good. I've never been a fancy cookie dough kid of girl.
So, grab your cookie dough ingredients and a large spoon and lets get started!
