Halloween is almost a month a way (can you believe it?!) and we are starting to think FALL. With the official first day of fall only a few days ago I am finally starting to feel ready for cooler weather and pumpkin spice everything! My kids are talking about Halloween costumes and going trick or treating with friends.
Our weather has been warm this September but we the temps are finally starting to cool down. Fall is one of favorite times of year and Halloween is no exception. I pulled out my Halloween totes a few weeks ago and have been slowly adding some Halloween flair to our home. Every year the kids have a Halloween party in their classes at school.
Not only do the kids get to dress up in the afternoon at school. There is also a Halloween parade around the school that ends in the gymnasium. It's so fun to see all the kids dressed up and see what everyone picked out as their Halloween costume. As for the party food we always get a note or text sent home asking for help planning the party and I am always game! Most classes are nut free to protect kids with nut allergies so we always try to stay away from those types of food and the teachers often request store bought foods so we can always guarantee nut-free treats and snacks.
This year I turned to Tyson® Chicken Nuggets, Hillshire Farm® Lit'l Smokies® and State Fair® Corn Dogs for a spooky and fun Halloween party food spread! My kids wanted something fun and spooky. I wanted something fun yet easy to make and share at the classroom party. I headed to my local Walmart store where I grabbed a variety of products to make into fun spooky party spread.
