Any outdoor lawn game is a must for summer! Our DIY Yard Dice Game will be a hit at your next gathering!
I LOVE Yahtzee. My sister and I played it all the time when we were kids. My mom taught both of us and we played countless hours of Yahtzee no matter what time of year. It was such an easy, fun and quick game, plus we hardly ever rolled an actual Yahtzee so when we did it was awesome.
I stumbled upon these giant foam dice at a store called Five Below. It's a store full of stuff that's five bucks or less. I love taking my kids there because it has a little bit 'more' in terms of product than the dollar store. And by 'more' I mean more expensive stuff my kids want, but don't need. But not too expensive that we're spending $20 on a craft kit. Anyhow, when I saw these dice, and I had to have them. They were five bucks each, but hey, it's an investment, a lifetime of yard dice had to happen! Can we really put a price on happiness? Don't answer that!
I grabbed a clipboard and a bucket and whipped up this score card and we were in business in no time! The kids love these giant dice and if you cannot find a Five Below store near you, check out these dice I found on Amazon. I think they will work perfectly, too.
If you don't remember the rules of Yahtzee, you'll want to refresh your memory by reading them here. Brush up on your math skills, too, because you'll be adding up those scorecards in no time. Perhaps you'll have a Yard Dice tournament!

This looks like a lot of fun! I will be visiting the 5 below store near me soon!

I did the same with large foam dice (bought three of the 2-packs), dry-erase pockets and markers, microfiber facial scrubbers (for erasing) from Dollar Tree! I keep it all in a tote bag (also from Dollar Tree), but they do sell small buckets that could be used for rollng and storage.
