This DIY Lego Journal Craft will make traveling more fun by being able to play with Legos on the go.
Whenever we travel, I always pack an extra backpack of stuff that will keep my Son busy in the car, plane or hotel.
The bag usually consists of an iPod, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo DS and the matching chargers. A handful of his favorite chapter books like the Dog Man series, a drawing pad with colored pencils and a journal/notebook that he can write in.
He probably uses the journal/notebook the most which is great. I had some leftover Lego tape that I figured I should put to use instead of it just lying around. So a few items in my house are now covered in Lego tape like our DIY Lego Journal Craft.
How to make a DIY Lego Journal:
Materials:
- small notebook
- lego tape
- scissors
- Peel the paper off part of the Lego tape and stick it onto the front of the notebook vertically and carefully cut the tape off at the bottom of the notebook.
- Select a second color piece of Lego tape, peel the paper off, press it next to the first piece and cut off the bottom of the tape evenly with the first piece.
- Repeat step #2 until the front of the notebook is covered in Lego tape.
- Your DIY Lego Journal is now ready to write/draw in or you can use it to build your legos right on top.
