Once you've seen the movie, you'll fall in love with the fish named Dory. Make this easy Finding Dory Fish Craft, too!
I get super excited when animated kid movies come out. I'm usually the one asking my family if we can go to the theater the night they come out. I think I'm just a big kid at heart. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, UP, and Finding Nemo are my all time favorites.
That's why I had to take my family to see Finding Dory with me. Once you see this cute movie, you'll want to make this cute Finding Dory Fish Craft with the kids.
How to Make a Finding Dory Fish Craft:
- 3 Lunch sack paper bags
- Craft paint: Bright blue, light blue, yellow, and black
- Large plastic googly eyes
- Yellow twine
- Scissors
- Paint brushes
To start, you'll want to lay your paper bag flat with the open side facing to the left. Paint the right ¾ of the bag blue and paint the left ¼ of the bag yellow and let dry.
Now cut two diagonal lines starting at each corner on the yellow side of the bag as shown.
Use your black paint, light blue, and yellow paint to paint Dory's designs on the bag as shown. If you need some guidance, use your sharpie marker to draw on the bag before you start painting.
Glue one plastic googly eye onto the top right of the bag.
Once your bag is dry, ball up a couple lunch sacks and place them inside your painted bag.
Now tie a piece of yellow twine around where the yellow and blue paint meet and you've got a cute little Dory bag.
Get ready for the new Finding Dory movie by making Dory from a paper lunch sack.
