Have you considered using Essential Oils for Acne? This acne toner is an effective and natural alternative with antibacterial benefits and acts as a gentile antiseptic.
I jumped on the Essential Oil bandwagon earlier this year when my friend suggested I grab a few Young Living oils. I was a bit hesitant about taking the oil plunge so I bought this book as a Christmas present to myself, and started to read up on how to use the oils. I skimmed through the book and focused mostly on how oils can help cough and colds, since that's what my family seemed to have at the time.
Fast forward to a few months later and I'm loving my oils. I decided to grab another book from my local library and try out a few essential oil homemade beauty recipes. The majority of the recipes are quite simple and I really like the more natural products on my skin.
Thankfully I've never had horrible acne, but I did have pimples as a kid and get one from time to time as an adult. After I started using this acne toner daily, my occasional pimple has pretty much diminished all together. Plus, I'm putting less harmful chemicals onto my face and skin which makes me feel better overall!
Note: A bottle of purified water that you'd usually grab to drink is perfect for this recipe. There's no need to purchase an entire gallon of water.
I found the container for my toner in the travel section at Target. You will be able to fill about 2 small containers with this toner. Which makes it a great option if you shower at the gym or travel a lot. You can have one at home and one with you.
