With Thanksgiving on the horizon, our home is ready and decorated for fall. Heck, come September I am already thinking about fall decor and how I love to entertain for the holidays. My kids love my job and love that I work 2-3 months a head of schedule. That means I'm already thinking ahead to fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving in August.

I love DIY home decor for the holidays, it beats having to pay full price for something you know is only going to be displayed for a few month at the most and you can get the whole family involved or at least the kids. I don't know if I could get my husband to make a turkey out of a wine bottle, but props if yours will. A couple of my favorite places to decorate is the fireplace mantel, my front porch, and the Thanksgiving table. Nothing beats a great decorated home.
