American Girl: Wellie Wishers Doll Review

I love American Girl Dolls. As a child I would get so excited when the American Girl Doll catalog would arrive in the mail. It was like Christmas. I would grab a pen or a marker and sit down for hours at a time pouring over the catalog circling and dreaming of the day I would get my very own American Girl Doll. Needless to say, I didn't get one growing up but as soon as my own daughters were old enough to enjoy dolls I began our American Girl adventure!

We started our journey with a Truly Me doll and a Bitty Baby for my youngest who was 4 at the time and loved babies. Since then, we have also collected Lea the 2016 Girl of The Year and thanks to American Girl a Wellie Wishers for review.

My youngest has been wanting her own 18 inch American Girl doll but I wanted her to ease into one and getting a Wellie Wisher first was perfect! We received Camille, an adorable Wellie Wisher who loves the ocean and has blonde hair and and blue eyes. And being only 14.5 inches tall, she was perfect for my daughter who already loves her to pieces and enjoys playing with her.

So, what is so special and unique about the Wellie Wishers? They are geared for younger girls which I think is awesome because sometimes the 18 inch dolls can be overwhelming and a lot to handle for younger kids. Their hair is also shorter and easier for little's to style, their wellies have slits in the back for easy and on and off action AND they promote playing outside and adventure.

There are five adorable Wellie Wishers to choose from, each comes with their own outfit, story behind the doll and a variety of adorable accessories which are sold separately. They are so cute and my daughter loves Camille so much, I cannot wait to collect them all!
