Now that's it's fall I'm really ready to start unpacking all of my fall decor and also start making some fun new decor too! I love the cooler weather and my mind is running in a million different directions on how I want to showcase the season in my home. What represents fall better than Pumpkins?! It's the first thing I think of and driving by the local pumpkin patches makes me smile and remember why I love fall so much.

And you can make this rustic pumpkin twig craft for (basically) free! Grab some pallet wood and head outside to pick up some twigs and sticks and you're half way to the most perfect rustic pumpkin twig craft for your Halloween decor!
If you have a pallet and need to know how to cut it, read my easy pallet cutting tutorial here. And grab a few materials and get moving You're three steps away from this easy project!
- Pallet Board (5.5" x 5.5" square)
- Small Twigs
- Orange Acrylic Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Hot Glue
- Wire Cutters, optional
- Place water into a small bowl. Add a few drops of orange acrylic paint and stir with a paint brush. You want a watery mix of paint to "stain" your pallet board. Let dry.
- Lay your twigs out in front of you and shorten them to the desired length to fit onto the board. Break apart with your fingers or use wire cutters to trim them to the desired length.
- Glue the twigs onto the pallet board with hot glue.
